At Brockton Beer Company, we’re more than just brewers; we’re crafters for the community. Since our founding in 2018, our mission has been to create a space where craft beer meets culture—a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity, local history, and the shared experiences that bring us together.
Our taproom, nestled in the heart of downtown Brockton, is a tribute to the city’s rich heritage. Step inside and you'll notice our iconic movie marquee, a nod to the numerous theaters that once graced Main Street. Edison light bulbs glow warmly above, paying homage to Thomas Edison’s historical visit, when he threw the first three-wire switch right here in Brockton. Just steps away from historic landmarks like City Hall, the Liberty Tree, and the Strand Theater statue, our location is steeped in stories, from the words of Frederick Douglass speaking next door to the echoes of Brockton's vibrant past.
We craft our beer on a 5-barrel system, producing small batches that reflect our passion for innovation and community collaboration. Our brews have earned us accolades. We’re proud to be one of few Black-owned breweries in Massachusetts, minority-owned and rooted in the belief that beer should be as diverse as the people who drink it.

- 2022 Silver Medal for their Black Kolsch beer, Yasuke, at the Denver International Beer Competition
